2009 Career Fair for Overseas Students OCT 09, 2009~OCT 10, 2009

Korean companies and research institutes are looking for global talents in S&T and management. Foreign students who have global experience in Korea or abroad are all welcome to this career fair. Online Registration is required before coming.

ㆍDate: Friday, October 9th ~ Saturday, October 10th, 2009. 10:00 ~ 17:00.
ㆍVenue: COEX* Conference Hall (3rd floor, Rm. #307~308)
* Subway: Line number two (green line), Samsung Stn., Exit No. 6.

ㆍRequirements
- Register online at http://jobfair.goldcard.or.kr
- Bring 10 copies of your CV or resume with your photo attached
- Formal clothes are commended

ㆍAdditional Programs: Job Con Seminars (Free, 14:00~17:00)
- October 9th: How to write CV and introductory letter, Work-manner in Korea
- Ocboter 10th: Image consulting for job interview

ㆍMiscellaneous
- Working visa is now available for most graduates from Korean universities. Please refer to
Eligible Occupation lists at the Career Fair website. (http://jobfair.goldcard.or.kr)
- Pre-registered visitors will receive a T-money tag (pre-charged) and an ecobag (Total
numbers of T-money tags are limited up to 200 per each day).
- Those who register on-site will only get an ecobag.

I would recommend all the interested international students to consult some person who has visited this job fair in the past. In opinion of some, it is only the CV submitting exercise. There is no on-spot recruiting. Dear Sohail Bhai! please correct me if you have further info or oppsit opinion in this regard.

I truly believe that we have reached the point where technology has become one with our lives, and I think it is safe to say that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.


I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory falls, the possibility of downloading our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could experience in my lifetime.
