Do you know Shin Saimdang? Perhaps your answer will be no. I was sitting on my desk and saw a 50,000 won Korean note. That currency has a lady's photograph and that is Shin Saimdang. She was a famous Korean painter and calligraphist.
I must mention that till date Korea had 1000, 5000 and 10,000 currency only and in June 2009 introduced 50,000 won currency. So it is of course important for us (expat) to know who was that lady?
India has highest currency of Rs 500. And of course that currency shows photograph of none other than father of nation, Gandhi Ji.
